刪除帳號前，請先取消訂閱。

刪除 Folio 帳號不會取消您在 App Store 或 Google Play 購買的「支持方案」訂閱。訂閱由商店管理，與 Folio 帳號分屬不同系統。若您目前有訂閱中的方案，請先到商店的訂閱設定取消，否則商店仍會依原週期繼續向您收費。

提交刪除後，下列資料會永久刪除：

• 您的登入帳戶（Google / Apple）
• 個人檔案：暱稱、性別、出生日期、所在地、書籍類別偏好、個性問答
• 您發布的所有貼文，以及您送出的報名紀錄
• 您的閱讀進度與讀後分享卡
• 您個人書櫃中的便利貼
• 您的虛擬書房：房間、佈置、書櫃上的書、房外的便條疊，以及該房收到的讚與訪客簿留言
• 您對其他人書房按過的讚
• 漂流瓶：您投出的瓶子，以及尚未成立筆友關係的回信（已因過期、被婉拒或管理處置而移入封存區的信件除外，見下方保留說明）
• 好友關係、好友邀請與共讀邀請、您的好友邀請碼
• 您的使用分析紀錄（功能點選事件、頁面停留時間、開啟次數）
• 推播通知識別碼（push token）
• 您設定的封鎖名單

下列資料不會刪除，但會匿名化（移除與您的關聯，於 App 中顯示為「已離開的書友」）：

• 共讀室中的聊天訊息
• 共讀便利貼牆上的便利貼
• 您在其他人的書房訪客簿留下的留言
• 已成立筆友關係的漂流瓶通信（在對方那端轉為唯讀的紀念）

原因：這些內容是您與共讀夥伴或筆友共同產生的紀錄，完全刪除會破壞對方保有的紀念。匿名化後已無法識別您的身分。

下列資料會留在收到的人那裡：

• 其他人已收藏到自己信匣的、您寄出的漂流瓶信件副本（保留至該收藏者自行刪除）
• 您已因過期、被婉拒或管理處置而移入封存區的信件：內文於歸檔滿 2 年後自動清除，在此之前不對任何用戶顯示

下列資料依法律義務或安全需要保留：

• 服務條款同意紀錄：自您同意當下起保留 5 年，以雜湊（hash）形式儲存，無法反推您的身分。
• 付費與訂閱事件紀錄：方案檔位、購買與續訂、到期事件，以及商店端的交易識別資訊。作為財務憑證，用於對帳、退款爭議，以及商業會計法與稅捐稽徵法所定的保存義務，不設定刪除期限。您刪除帳號後，這些紀錄與您個人檔案的關聯會被移除；紀錄中仍留有商店端的交易識別碼，以及訂閱服務（RevenueCat）所使用的帳號識別碼，後者是查考退款爭議所必要而刻意保留，在 Folio 已無對應的個人檔案可回溯。
• 檢舉與處置紀錄：檢舉案件結案後保留 5 年，屆期由系統自動刪除。管理處置的稽核紀錄（處置類型、時間與當下的內容快照）為防止規避停權、社群安全稽核與法律抗辯而保留，不隨帳號刪除而移除；帳號刪除後，其中的識別碼在 Folio 已無對應的個人檔案可回溯。

Cancel your subscription before deleting your account.

Deleting your Folio account does not cancel a "support plan" subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions are managed by the store and live in a separate system from your Folio account. If you currently have an active plan, cancel it in the store's subscription settings first, or the store will keep charging you on the original cycle.

Upon deletion, the following data is permanently deleted:

• Your sign-in account (Google / Apple)
• Profile: nickname, gender, date of birth, location, book category preferences, personality answers
• All posts you published, and applications you submitted
• Your reading progress and reading share cards
• Notes in your personal bookshelf
• Your virtual study rooms: the room, its arrangement, the books on the shelves, the paper-note stack outside the room, and the likes and guestbook comments that room received
• Likes you gave to other people's study rooms
• Drift bottles: bottles you cast, and replies that had not yet become a pen-pal connection (except letters already moved to the archive because they expired, were declined, or were removed by moderation — see the retention note below)
• Friendships, friend and co-reading invitations, and your friend code
• Your usage-analytics records (feature-tap events, time spent per screen, app open counts)
• Push notification token
• Your block list

The following data is not deleted, but is anonymized (your association is removed; it appears in the app as "a reader who has left"):

• Chat messages within co-reading rooms
• Sticky notes on co-reading note walls
• Comments you left in other people's study-room guestbooks
• Drift-bottle correspondence where a pen-pal connection was established (it becomes a read-only memento on the other person's side)

Reason: this content is jointly created with your reading partners or pen pals; deleting it entirely would destroy the memento they keep. After anonymization, you can no longer be identified.

The following stays with the person who received it:

• Copies of drift-bottle letters you sent that others have saved to their own letter box (kept until that person deletes them)
• Letters of yours already moved to the drift-bottle archive (expired, declined, or removed by moderation): the text is cleared automatically 2 years after archiving, and is not shown to any user in the meantime

The following is retained to meet legal obligations or safety needs:

• Terms-of-service consent records: retained for 5 years from the moment you gave consent, stored as a hash that cannot be traced back to your identity.
• Payment and subscription event records: plan tier, purchase and renewal, expiry events, and store-side transaction identifiers. Kept as financial records for reconciliation, refund disputes, and the retention duties under the Commercial Accounting Act and the Tax Collection Act, with no fixed deletion period. Once you delete your account, the link between these records and your profile is removed; the records still hold the store-side transaction identifiers and the account identifier used by the subscription service (RevenueCat), which is deliberately kept because it is necessary for investigating refund disputes and no longer resolves to any profile on Folio.
• Report and enforcement records: a closed report is retained for 5 years and then deleted automatically. Moderation action audit records (action type, time, and a snapshot of the content at that moment) are retained to prevent suspension evasion, for community-safety auditing, and for legal defence, and are not removed when an account is deleted; after deletion the identifier they hold no longer resolves to any profile on Folio.
